Wow!!! Time has passed, and so much has changed since my last post here!!
Broadcom acquired VMware, product offerings changed, names have changed, and so many new features and capabilities have been introduced.
VMware NSX Security has been rebranded to VMware vDefend, and license packages have been simplified.
Security Services Platform (SSP) was recently introduced; this platform will be replacing NSX Application Platform (NAPP). The deployment process is much simpler and provides a base platform for upcoming features and capabilities. Expect to see some “how-to” to blog posts on this shortly.
